Turn Off Order Notifications in the Alexa App
Order notifications are visibly displayed on your Echo as a yellow light ring. You can hear the notification by saying, “Alexa, what’s my notification?”. Seen different color light rings and been confused by their meaning? Check out our article on what the light ring colors on your Echo mean.
If you don’t mind Alexa giving you notifications but don’t want other household members to know what you’ve ordered or returned, then, under Say or show item titles, turn off For items in delivery updates and For items in return updates. You can also turn off titles just for items marked as gifts here, which might be a good idea around the holiday season.
To turn off notifications entirely, scroll down to Delivery Notifications and turn off Out for delivery and Delivered. You’ll also want to turn off Returns and Order Updates just underneath this section.
If you wish, you can also turn off Deal recommendations and Reorder recommendations below, which will prevent Alexa from suggesting items for you to purchase. Finally, tap the back arrow to save your preferences.

Under Say or show item titles, turn off the toggles next to For items in delivery updates, For items in return updates, and Items in your basket markets as gifts.
Then, turn off each toggle under Delivery Notifications, Returns, and Order Updates. You can also turn off Deal recommendations and Reorder recommendations if you like.
